Dallas, TX-based Tabani Group acquired the retail component of the Downtown Abacoa mixed-use project in Jupiter for $18 million.
The 100,000 square feet of retail is part of a master-planned development known as Abacoa, which includes more than 6,000 residential units and three million square feet of commercial space. The retail component is approximately 90% leased to a tenant roster that includes Civil Society Brewing Co., Copacabana Cuban Cuisine, Costello’s Trattoria, Freshii and Hokkaido Hibachi & Sushi.
Danny Finkle, Eric Williams and Luis Castillo of JLL represented the seller, FLF Holdings, in the transaction. The Tabani Group financed the acquisition with a $12.6 million mortgage from Citibank.
