Bloomington, MN-based United Properties’ proposed $45-million Target Field Station, a mixed-use development adjacent to Target Field in downtown Minneapolis, MN, received city council approval of its environmental grant funding applications. The planned 154-room hotel and two-level entertainment venue is located at 6th Avenue N. and N. 5th Street.
The compact, 0.75-acre site is envisioned to add an eight-story, extended-stay hotel with underground parking that connects to a music venue. A restaurant is also planned for the transit-oriented development.
The site, at 335 5th St. N., is located in the growing North Loop neighborhood, Minneapolis’ historic warehouse district. The project is steps away from Target Field, the Minnesota Twins’ nationally-acclaimed baseball stadium, which opened in 2010.
