Tarrytown Icon Sells for $30M

GHP Office Realty paid $30 million for one of the prominent office buildings in Westchester County. RNY Property Trust sold the six-story, 279,000-square-foot building in Tarrytown, NY, after receiving strong interest from investors. Many potential buyers toured the property before the sale.

“660 White Plains Rd. is well known for its remarkable design, distinctive architectural features, and status as the largest building in Tarrytown Corporate Center,” said Andy Merin, vice chairman with Cushman & Wakefield, which represented the seller.

The property is currently 80% leased. “It continues to outperform the greater Westchester market, and the new ownership will be able to capitalize on the building’s flexibility and strong regional market fundamentals,” Merin said.
