Taylor Morrison Puts $50M Stake in DFW Market

Arizona homebuilder Taylor Morrison will be investing $50 million in the Dallas-Fort Worth market during the next three years. DFW is proving to be one of the strongest single-family markets in the country, according to the company.

The builder launched model homes at Willowcreek in Auburn Hills in McKinney, TX, approximately 20 miles north of downtown Dallas. Taylor Morrison also secured 416 lots in The Colony, another far north Dallas suburb. The builder plans to focus buying efforts on northern suburbs from Fort Worth to McKinney.

Dallas-Fort Worth home prices have increased by 43.5% within the last five years, partly due to escalating land costs.
