Peach, a new tech startup that aims to make it easier for office workers to get lunch deliveries, is now in San Diego. It is the second city the firm has launched in, following Seattle.
Peach partners with local restaurants and office businesses and handles the delivery process of the food. Orders with customers are placed via text message.
The firm has 1,000 Qualcomm office workers signed up for the service and also has partnerships with AT&T, Intuit, Sharp Healthcare and Sony. Restaurants on board include La Jolla’s The Taco Stand, as well as San Diego Restaurants Bombay Grill, The Deli Llama, El Patron Mexican Grill, New York on Rye, Pizza on Pearl and Sushi Hut.
