Tech Firm Expands in Move to Starrett Lehigh

Technology services firm Persistent Systems LLC leased 55,000 square feet of office space in RXR Realty’s Starrett Lehigh Building in West Chelsea to facilitate the expansion of the company’s New York City headquarters. Persistent was represented by an NKF team of Jordan Gosin, Josh Gosin and John Cilmi Jr., with RXR’s Denise Rodriguez representing ownership.

The new space will afford Persistent more than five times the production capacity, and will accommodate the company’s anticipated growth over the next decade. It will also incorporate a state-of-the-art training facility and lab space for the radio, hardware and software development testing.

“Persistent’s strategic growth plan involves expanding the organization from a $100-million-a-year business to $1 billion over the next decade, and we require the space to grow our engineering team and program management team and to significantly expand our production capacity,” said Herbert Rubens, founder and CEO of Persistent.
