Curious how technology will change the apartment business? The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is way ahead of you.
This year, NYCHA will try out three cutting edge technologies — each will get a three-month pilot program. NYCHA will announce the three tech ideas later this month, choosing from 10 tech startup companies that pitched their ideas at the 2017 NYCHA Tech Pilots, held at The Urban Tech Hub @ Grand Central Tech.
NYCHA partnered with the Hub @ Grand Central Tech and MetaProp NYC to identify 10 technology startups. “We have identified some of the strongest tech startups in New York City,” said Rasmia Kirmani-Frye, president of the Fund for Public Housing. “We are excited to see the positive impacts new technology can have.”
