San Antonio, Fort Worth and Dallas came in first, second and third place, respectively, when it came to the nation’s hottest single-family markets according to Ten-X. The California-based research company released its Single-Family Housing Markets Report for Fall 2017, which ranks the 50 largest housing markets, according to current and forecasted housing fundamentals.
Though all three Texas cities experienced double-digit home price gains, they remain affordable, indicating a bright future, Ten-X noted. “San Antonio’s housing market continues to impress, with home sales outpacing the U.S. rate, despite actually slowing down from Q2 2017,” the report noted.
