Texas Health and Human Services Buildings Sell to Houston Buyer

A North Texas investor sold a portfolio of Texas-wide government buildings leased to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The buyer, based in Houston, walked away from the all-cash transaction owning four 100%-leased buildings, totaling 23,856 square feet.

Cody Payne and Wayne Bares with Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, and arranged for the buyer. The tenant is the Texas Department of Family and Protective Service, with the leases guaranteed by the state.
The buildings were located at:

  • 623 W. St. Mary’s St., Centerville
  • 210 E. Cedar Creek Pkwy., Seven Points
  • 201 Highland Dr., Taylor
  • 211 William St., Marlin
