Texas Public Radio could have a formal understanding in spring as to whether the organization will relocate its operations to part of the Alameda Theater complex on West Houston Street in downtown, San Antonio. If all goes according to plan, the nonprofit media group could relocate its headquarters to a stagehouse structure that was added to the historic movie theater in 2014.
Joyce Slocum, president and CEO of TPR, told the Houston Business Journal that, within the next two-three months, a “definite agreement of where that line of demarcation is”, to help with more planning. Specifically, the TPR requires 24,000 square feet, and “its my understanding that the stagehouse building would allow for that,” Slocum said.
