Imagine ditching your car for a Wi-Fi enabled private bus to take you to work every morning. That’s the vision that co-founder Chris Upjohn and his new ‘Magic Bus’ startup are aiming to make a reality.
Born from a Y Combinator to alleviate the daily drudgery that commuters face driving congested routes to work, Magic Bus provides a service for the ride between cities rather than within cities. The start-up is tapping into a consumer base that companies like Uber and Lyft have yet to consider.
Magic Bus is currently in its beta phase, but Upjohn foresees a future when the commute to work is no longer a solo ride.
