The Collection Planned in Carmel Valley

Costa Mesa, CA-based Donahue Schriber Realty Group plans to develop The Collection, 120,000-square-foot expansion at Del Mar Highlands Town Center in North San Diego’s Carmel Valley. The expansion, to more than 380,000 square feet, is expected to help meet demand by lifestyle and top-tier regional and local tenants seeking to expand into the affluent market.

Donahue Schriber’s Patrick Donahue said, “It’s much more than a shopping center expansion, this is about continuing to be the meeting place or as the name so adequately describes, the town center of the Carmel Valley community.”

Located at Del Mar Heights Road and El Camino Real, The Collection will offer a wide-array of retail, dining, and services tailored to area consumers. Locally-based, natural foods grocer, Jimbo’s…Naturally!, is expanding from 14,000 at its current store in the center to a new 25,000-square-foot store at The Collection.
