For the eighth annual year, A.T. Kearney released its Global Cities report which ranks cities worldwide to determine the locales that are most primed for urban transformation and growth. Based on a mix of factors, including business activity, political engagement, human capital, information exchange, and cultural experiences, the ranking outlines where people and organizations have the highest probability to thrive.
The report’s comprehensive approach also outlines how information exchange is shaping the future of cities. Here’s a look at the top 10 most influential global cities:
- New York City
- Hong Kong
- Los Angeles
In terms of economics, New York leads the pack, Melbourne stands out for personal well-being, and both New York and Frankfurt saw the highest inflow of foreign direct investment in infrastructure.
