San Diego is known for its perfect weather and scenic views, and there’s no better way to take the city in than to spend time outside. In a ranking constructed by utilizing Walk Score, Redfin put together a list of San Diego’s most walkable cities.
Starting with Little Italy with a walk score of 97, one can score a condo downtown for under $500k and basically walk everywhere. Close behind is Core-Columbia, with increasing developments of high-rise condo offerings positioning it at a walk score of 96.
The list wouldn’t be complete without San Diego’s charming and historic Gaslamp District, with a walk score matching that of Core-Columbia. Other neighborhoods that made the list trailing close behind include: Harborview, Marine, La Jolla, and Normal Heights coming in last at number 10 (walk score 84).
When compared to other regions, coming in 10th place with a score of 84 depicts a lot about San Diego’s city planning.
