Thor Equities Brings Women’s Coworking Space to Midtown

Thor Equities has leased 12,252 square feet at 25 W. 39th St. in Manhattan to The Wing. The co-working and community space for women signed a long-term deal for the 11th floor of the historic property, which opened in 1907 as the Engineering Societies’ Building.

The new space will be the company’s fourth in New York and eighth overall. “The building offers extraordinary character in Midtown Manhattan, and provides the perfect setting for the company to continue their mission of building a community dedicated to the advancement of women,” said Thor Equities CEO Joseph Sitt.

The landlord is a tenant at 25 W. 39th, along with the Squash Center, Spark Labs, Halston, Movado, Seven for all Mankind and VF Jeanswear.

Avison Young’s Arthur Mirante, John Ryan, Patrick Steffens and Dominic Perkovic represented the landlord along with Thor’s Adam Lavinsky. NKF’s Jeffrey Roseman and Accelerator Advisors’ John Klein advised The Wing.
