Gensler’s Houston office promoted Brooks W. Howell to principal. He currently serves as Firmwide Leader for Gensler’s Residential Practice Area. Howell, who has spent 24 years involved with mixed-use, residential-retail and hospitality developments nationwide, also directs one of Gensler Houston’s Lifestyle studios. Howell joined Gensler in 2010, is an adjunct professor in the Real Estate MBA program at the Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston, and received his Bachelor of Architecture from University of Texas at Austin.
In addition to Howell’s promotion to principal at Gensler’s Houston office, the company also named Byron Chambers and Jonathan Kelley principals at its Dallas office. Chambers is a Firmwide Leader of Gensler’s Sorts Practice Arena, with experience designing NFL stadiums, major league ballparks and collegiate venues. Kelley, in the meantime, is focusing on the design and design management of sports stadiums and arenas.
