London-based Time Out Group and Boston developer Samuels & Associates opened Time Out Market in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood. Located at 401 Park Dr., the 25,000-square-foot market features 15 eateries by local chefs, two full-service bars and retail space.
The food hall is located at the former Landmark Center, which was built in 1929 as a Sears, Roebuck and Co. warehouse and distribution center. The property was vacant from 1988 until 2000. Samuels & Associates is currently redeveloping the property with additional office and retail, as well as a new public plaza.
Boston is the fourth city to get a Time Out Market, joining locations in Lisbon, Portugal as well as Miami and New York City. In creating a Time Out Market location, global media group Time Out gathers what it considers the best of a city’s local food and culture under one roof.
