Toll Brothers Inc. has entered the Boise, ID market with its acquisition of Coleman Real Estate Holdings for an undisclosed price. The acquisition provides Horsham, PA-headquartered Toll Brothers with approximately 1,400 lots owned and 350 lots controlled in Idaho’s Ada and Canyon Counties.
Coleman Homes builds single-family residences ranging from first-time to luxury homes, priced from $175,000 to $500,000. At the time of the acquisition, Coleman’s $40.8 million backlog consisted of 135 homes, with an average price of $302,000.
According to Toll Brothers’ CEO Douglas C. Yearley, the Coleman Homes acquisition will help his company serve “a slightly lower price-point niche in an upscale market.”
