Trammell Crow Lifts Curtain on Diridon

Trammell Crow revealed designs for Diridon, a mixed-use project slated for an 8.5-acre site in downtown San Jose. The development includes 940,000 square feet of office space in a 12- and a 13-story tower, and roughly 35,000 square feet of retail and dining. A third 10-story tower is planned for 325 residential units.

The Dallas-based developer’s revised concepts from Gensler (office) and HKS Architects (residential) for a spec project is the first major mixed-use campus on the west side of Highway 87. The campus will set the tone for the emerging Diridon district when construction starts later this year.

Trammel Crow says the transparent and “connected” buildings will “foster collaboration” by focusing on broader placemaking elements.
