California-based company TripActions has expanded its presence in Dallas within the past year. The growth from 74 to 200 employees prompted the company to sign a lease for 88,290 square feet at the Renaissance Tower in downtown Dallas. The tenant will relocate from its current space at 717 Harwood St., where it occupied 25,268 square feet, to occupy the top three floors of its new location at 1201 Elm St.
Clay Gilbert, Dennis Barnes and Ben Davis with CBRE represented the landlord, SMA Equities and the Moinian Group. Whitebox Real Estate advised TripActions in negotiations.
The 1.7-million-square-foot, 56-story Renaissance Tower is in the middle of Dallas’ CBD, close to retail and dining options, and steps away from a Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) station. Other tenants include Hilltop Securities, Ernst & Young and Neiman Marcus’ corporate offices.
