Two Hotels Move Forward in Rancho Cucamonga Signaling High Demand

Construction is underway on a 105-room Fairfield Inn and Suites in Rancho Cucamonga, and a second 126-room Residence Inn is moving through final city approvals. Strong demand in the market led to the new properties‘ development, as occupancy rates reportedly increased four percent last year, and ADR’s were up eight percent.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites property is slated to open mid-year. The Residence Inn is expected to commence construction later this year. Both properties are four stories, and part of the Marriott chain.

City redevelopment officials say the “business-class hotels” will stimulate the local economy through temporary construction jobs and permanent hospitality workforce positions, as well as helping attract more tourism to the region.
