Two MXU Projects Move Ahead in Providence I-195 District

The I-195 Redevelopment District Commission has given design review approval to two redevelopment projects in Providence. The projects are the proposed Truth Box, Inc. and D + P Real Estate development, and the proposed Exeter Property Group Urban development.

The proposed D+P Real Estate and Truth Box, Inc. development is located on the east side of the District and is bordered by Wickenden, South Water, and South Main, and Pike streets. The mixed-use project will include a 13,000-square-foot grocery store, 10,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, as well as 62 housing units.

The Exeter Property Group Urban project is located in the center of the District, and is bordered by Clifford, Richmond, Friendship and Chestnut streets. The mixed-use project includes 248 residential units and approximately 22,700 square feet of ground floor retail space.
