Urban Community LLC and Terrascape Ventures LLC submitted a Site Development Permit for the development of Davidson Plaza Tower, an 850,000-square-foot high-rise office tower in downtown San Jose at 255 W. Julian St. The development team includes tech venture capitalist and developer, Gary Dillabough, and real estate veteran Jeff Arrillaga, both of Urban Community, and developers Tony Arreola and Mark Lazzarini of Terrascape Ventures.

Although some of the details of the design, by Architect Arquitectonica, will evolve through the development process, the proposed design offers unique amenities, such as an urban plaza, large floor plates consistent with market trends, indoor atriums, outdoor terraces, a sky garden, and a rooftop multipurpose space that can accommodate banquets or a restaurant.

Arreola says, “Indoor and outdoor green spaces are a key element of the design. Besides creating a better work environment, studies show that plants also reduce stress and help increase employee productivity.”
