Urbana Development broke ground on a new corporate headquarters campus for Laserfiche in Long Beach. The 100,000-square-foot office building, at 3443 Long Beach Blvd. in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood, is expected to serve as a new landmark in the city.
The new HQ facility will enable the software company to double its employee count from 300 to 600. The four-story project has been designed to earn LEED and WELL Gold certifications. Construction on a site north of the 405 Freeway is expected to wrap up in 2021.
The development team also includes general contractor Millie and Severson, and was designed by studio one eleven. Laserfiche occupies four other buildings in the surrounding area. The new facility will be the first office building developed on this stretch of Long Beach Boulevard in nearly 30 years.
Connect Bay Area is coming up next week at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco. Get more information, and register to attend on this link.
