CBRE arranged the sale of Brownsville Doctors Hospital in Brownsville, for an undisclosed sum. The vacant property at 4750 North Expressway was purchased by a local investor who plans to provide healthcare services to the local community. The seller is Boston-based Capital Crossing.
The Brownsville Doctors Hospital is a three-story acute-care medical and surgical hospital totaling 79,396 square feet on five acres. It was licensed for 56 beds.

The property was originally built as a one-story hospital in 2001, then expanded in 2008 with the addition of two stories and an additional freestanding building to serves as the wound center.
“This property had challenges in terms of its large size and specialized surgical and inpatient spaces,” said CBRE SVP Scott Herbold. “However, the buyer made a strategic investment into this well-located medical facility and has plans to reposition it to better serve Brownsville and the surrounding area.”
