VC Firm Sets Up Shop at Newly Renovated 165 Mercer

Venture capital firm Spark Capital has signed on at 165 Mercer St. in Soho. The 4,897-square-foot office lease runs for seven years.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Douglas Regal, Jamie Katcher, Sebastian Infante and Chelsea Cox represented the landlord, FLANK, in the transaction. Spark Capital was represented by T3 Advisors’ Christina Jones and Eva Shih.

“We are thrilled to welcome Spark Capital as the newest tenant at 165 Mercer Street,” said Regal. “Attracting a top-tier VC firm such as Spark is a testament to the successful renovation of 165 Mercer from a parking garage into the premier boutique office building in SoHo.”

165 Mercer recently underwent a full renovation that sought to preserve the feel of the 19th century Soho cast iron building. It’s located near 10 subway lines at Broadway-Lafayette Street Station, Spring Street Station and the Second Avenue Station.
