VCS Moves to 1407 Broadway

VCS Group, the apparel and accessories company founded by late designer Vince Camuto, signed a new lease for 42,748 square feet at 1407 Broadway at 38th St.

“VCS was looking to consolidate its operations onto a large, single floor to facilitate collaboration among colleagues,” said Peter Turchin, vice chairman for CBRE, which represented owner Shorenstein Properties. “They were attracted by the building’s loft-like feel and incredible sightlines. This deal underscores the desirability of big, efficient floor plates.”

The building is finalizing a $30-million renovation that includes a new lobby, upgrades to the façade and elevators, and new retail tenants Mighty Quinn’s, Wichcraft, Dig Inn, Num Pang, Juice Generation, Gregory’s Coffee and Luke’s Lobster. Jeffrey Rosenblatt of CBC Advisors represented the tenant.
