Walmart Opens Massive E-Commerce Chino Fulfillment Center

Walmart opened a 1.2-million-square-foot fulfillment center in Chino, designed to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.

The new facility employs 300, and is located at Kimball and Euclid Ave. The building is part of Majestic Chino Gateway, a 155-acre industrial center developed by Majestic Realty on former land that was owned by the state and used for the Chino Institute for Men prison. Two more buildings are planned at the site.

Walmart’s e-commerce network includes smaller distribution centers, existing e-commerce facilities, 80-plus retail locations set up to ship directly from the stores, and 4,500 stores that can be used as pick-up points for orders.
