Waterton, in partnership with The Kor Group, completed the redevelopment of The Flat in DTLA. The 205-unit complex was originally constructed as a hotel, and converted into apartments in the mid-2000s.
The partnership purchased The Flat in 2014 and began the current renovation project about a year ago. A newly-reimagined, mid-century modern all-studio apartment complex at 750 Garland Ave. is designed for those seeking an experiential living environment near key downtown attractions such as LA Live and Staples Center.
Waterton’s Tina Miserendino says, “These studio apartments are an exceptional value for housing in the downtown area. The Flat offers a prime location as well as amenities that give residents access to everything downtown L.A. has to offer.”
The six-story complex features a heated swimming pool with a sundeck, and a fully- equipped fitness center and yoga room. A WiFi-enabled resident lounge includes a pool table, a large flat screen and open seating areas.
