Watson Land Makes Historic East Coast Acquisition

Carson-based Watson Land Company is expanding from its strong West Coast base to the East Coast. The company, which traces it roots back 200 years to one of the first Spanish land grants in SoCal, acquired an asset within the West Hills Business Center in Pennsylvania.

Acquisition of its first distribution facility on the East Coast is a historic milestone for the industrial developer and owner. The property is located in the Lehigh Valley, a key Northeast logistics corridor along I-78.

The 435,218-square-foot property was completed in June 2015 and is occupied by FedEx Corp. subsidiary GENCO, a leading supply chain solution provider. The building is part of a 257-acre industrial park developed by Hillwood Investment Properties.
