West Monroe Takes Naming Rights to Sterling Bay’s Loop Tower

West Monroe Partners will double its headquarters space in a move to what will become its namesake tower. The business and technology consulting firm is leasing 208,000 square feet at Sterling Bay’s 311 W. Monroe St., which will be renamed West Monroe Partners HQ when it relocates there next fall.

The company will be relocating across the street from 222 W. Adams St., where it has been based since 2012. It also plans to double its headcount to 1,600 by 2024.

West Monroe Partners’ 12-year deal brings 311 W. Monroe to fully leased. The 1972-vintage Loop property was nearly empty when Sterling Bay acquired it in 2017. Current tenants include Convene and Mayer Brown.

“The success we’ve seen in leasing 311 W. Monroe validates our effective repositioning of this property into a top-tier office building that exceeds today’s standard for a next-level tenant experience,” said Sterling Bay CEO Andy Gloor.
