Potential buyers staged an intense bidding war for a corner mixed-use property at 558 Broome St. in West Soho. The property is also known as 558-560 Broome St., or 110-112 Varick St.
An investment partnership, 558 Broome LLC, paid $15.8 million for the 14,000-square-foot building, which includes 20 apartments and three restaurant spaces. The property also generates additional income from the billboard along a portion of the northern elevation of the building, and from a T-Mobile antenna lease on the roof.
“I’m very pleased that I was able to secure a record price for the family that had owned the property for decades,” said Adelaide Polsinelli, senior managing director and principal for Eastern Consolidated.
