Westport buys Harbor City Self Storage Facility

Irvine, CA-based Westport Properties acquired a 29,024-square-foot self storage facility from Greenwood Village, CO-based National Storage Affiliates Trust REIT for nearly $5 million. The former StorAmerica flagged facility in Harbor City, CA will now come under the umbrella of Westport’s US Storage Centers brand.

Located at 1239 W 253rd St., the property consists of 333 self-storage units and sits on approximately 1.3 acres of land. It offers a wide range of amenities, including a gated entrance with key code access, 24-hour video surveillance cameras, RV and boat parking, and wide asphalt drive aisles for easy access.

CBRE’s Nick Walker represented the seller and the buyer in the transaction.
