Over the past 18 months, foreign investors have chosen offices as the commercial real estate investment of choice in San Diego, according to research from JLL and RCA. The property type accounted for 42.5 percent of the foreign capital invested in CRE during that time frame.
Canada is far and away the primary source of recent foreign capital purchases, accounting for 44.7 percent of the total foreign capital invested. Vancouver-based Bosa Development is the top foreign-based buyer of San Diego commercial real estate over the past 18 months. Bosa increased its presence in San Diego with recent offices purchases at 530 B. St and 1620 5th Ave.
