Newport Beach, CA-based Landmark Capital Advisors arranged $37.5 million in refinancing for The Barlow, a 12.5-acre winery-anchored, mixed-use, artisanal maker campus in Sonoma County, CA. The downtown Sebastopol open-air marketplace experience features two full-scale production wineries, two breweries, a distillery, as well as complimentary retail and industrial uses.
An existing equity partner was bought out, and the project’s debt was replaced with long-term fixed rate financing. The popular wine country destination opened in 2013 on a former apple processing plant, and includes 17 buildings and 178,000 square feet of space spread across four city blocks.
Production wineries include Kosta Browne Winery and Wind Gap Winery, as well as tasting rooms for Marimar Estate Vinyards, La Follette Wines and MacPhail Wines.
Landmark Capital’s Ethan Schelin completed the transaction for an affiliate of Bay Area-based Aldridge Development.
