During her 30-year commercial real estate career, NKF’s Lispah Hogan completed more than 23 million square feet of transactions throughout the southeastern United States, including Texas. The reason for her success? Relationships.
The NKF Executive Managing Director focuses on meaningful connections with clients, peers and industry members. Raised as an “Army brat,” Hogan learned, from an early age, how to make friends, cultivate meaningful relationships and overcome unanticipated challenges. She also adapted gracefully to changing situations and circumstances, skills that have greatly aided her in the ebb and flow of commercial real estate.
Her background, and experience, has given her the ability to partner with clients and develop successful strategies for their real estate holdings. Some of the tools include sale-leaseback of existing buildings to boost capital, and seeking out new space for original leases, expansions and renewals. She is also active in the community, as a former secretary and treasurer for the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association, former president of the Association for Commercial Real Estate, and committee member with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
In addition to cultivating and sustaining relationships, Hogan’s ability to develop market insight is a huge help when it comes to doing the best for her clients.
In short, thriving at the top of a mainly male-dominated industry, and doing so with knowledge and building important relationships, has netted Hogan a Connect Media 2019 Women in Real Estate Award.
