Transportation and logistics services provider XPO Logistics has signed a 265,163-square-foot lease expansion at the Mt. Zion Industrial Center. The firm now occupies the full 519,500-square-foot distribution center at 1791 Mount Zion Rd. XPO has occupied the front section of the building since 2018.
NAI Brannen Goddard represented the landlord, Woodmont Industrial Partners, in the transaction. Woodmont acquired the property in February 2018 and embarked on a capital improvement program, which included the upgrade of new dock equipment, office upgrades, floor upgrades and new landscaping. The facility features 72 dock doors, two drive-in doors, 22-foot clear heights and parking for 110 trailers.
“XPO’s lease of the entire building is a testament to the strength of this submarket and further proof that our value-add approach was prudent,” said Anthony Amadeo, vice president of asset management at Woodmont Industrial Partners. “As we continue our national expansion of our portfolio of industrial properties, we will continue to target assets that meet the immense demand in the market for high-quality product.”
